Trout & Wine Festival 2026

14th Trout Festival
Tapolca’s Mill Lake is well worth a visit in its own right, but during the Trout & Wine Festival, the lakeside takes on a truly special atmosphere.
At the wine stands, you can taste wines from the Balaton Uplands, while fresh trout is served in a variety of delicious ways. Throughout the day and into the evening, concerts, talks, great food and a lively autumn festival atmosphere will make the hours fly by.
Romantic walks around the lake, raising a glass with friends and family-friendly activities are all part of the weekend – there is something for everyone to enjoy.
One tip: dress in layers, as sunny afternoons can give way to pleasantly cool evenings. See you in Tapolca!
Programme at the Trout & Wine Festival 2026
The festival begins on Friday evening, and from Saturday afternoon onwards, a variety of performers take to the stage. The line-up includes Don Lázi Swingtet, Bluessteel with Écska Pleszkán and Ferenc Kecskés, as well as the Dutch band Struuf. A laser show will add to the evening atmosphere, while Maraquita & Rubén La Voz will bring Latin rhythms to the festival.
On Sunday, music remains centre stage, with performances by Best of Cello, the Tapolca Flute Ensemble and the Hot Jazz Band. The weekend concludes with the festive “Viva la Pisztráng” concert at the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption.
