Festetics Light Park 2026–2027

As evening falls, the gardens of Festetics Palace in Keszthely transform into an enchanting world of light. Wander through illuminated tunnels, discover glowing sculptures and musical light displays, and enjoy one of Lake Balaton's most atmospheric seasonal experiences.

The outdoor walking route takes approximately 40–50 minutes, with plenty of opportunities for memorable photos. Interactive elements for children and seasonal food and drinks add to the experience.

Location: Festetics Palace Park, Kastély utca 1, 8360 Keszthely, Hungary

Dates: 23 October 2026 – 10 January 2027

Opening hours: 18:00–21:30 daily, except 1 November and 24 December, when the park is closed. Last ticket sales at 21:00.

Admission: Adult tickets from HUF 4,800 on weekdays and HUF 5,300 on weekends and during the holiday period. Reduced and family tickets are available. Admission is free for children under 3.

Tickets: Available online and at the entrance. No advance time-slot reservation is required.

Parking: The Sopron Street car park is approximately 200 metres from the palace. Designated municipal street parking spaces are free of charge after 18:00.

Public transport: Keszthely railway and bus stations are approximately a 25–30-minute walk from the palace. Check your return connections in advance.

Accessibility: The walking route is wheelchair and stroller accessible.

Dog-friendly: Dogs are welcome on a leash.

Weather: The event takes place outdoors. In dangerous weather conditions, opening hours may change or the park may close.

Good to know: Admission to the light park does not include entry to the palace's indoor exhibitions. Warm clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended.
