Kányavári Island

The Kányavári Island is part of the strictly protected area of Kis-Balaton.
A well-built road leads to the island, where you’ll find a paid parking area and restrooms. You reach the island via a unique wooden bridge – one of the region’s most iconic landmarks.
There’s plenty of space for outdoor activities like playing ball, badminton or simply running around in nature.
Designated cooking and barbecue areas are also available, and if you have a valid fishing permit (and a bit of luck), you can even grill your own freshly caught fish on site.
