Knights' Tournament & Medieval Feast at Sümeg Castle

Experience Medieval History in Sümeg

At the foot of Sümeg Castle, one of Hungary's most impressive medieval fortresses, history comes to life through an exciting equestrian performance in the historic Knights' Arena.

The show begins with an elegant Spanish-style equestrian display featuring Andalusian horses, followed by spectacular horse-riding stunts and a knights' tournament. Costumed performers demonstrate archery, medieval weapons and combat skills both on horseback and on foot, accompanied by music and narration.

A Medieval Feast After the Tournament

After the performance, visitors can continue the experience with a traditional medieval feast in the Great Knights' Hall.

Hearty dishes inspired by medieval traditions are served by staff in period costumes, with live music adding to the atmosphere. In keeping with the spirit of the era, guests are invited to enjoy their meal without cutlery.

Visitors can choose to attend the knights' tournament only or combine the show with the medieval feast.
