Do you love local flavours, fresh homemade cheeses, honey, jams and artisan meat products? Would you like to step inside a wine cellar, visit a lavender distillery or discover the world of beekeeping? And how about meeting farm animals while tasting delicious local specialities? Then this is an event you won’t want to miss!

On the last weekend of September 2026, local producers across several communities around Lake Balaton will open their doors as part of the Open Doors Weekend 2026.

Visitors can drop in between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM without prior registration and discover the flavours, aromas and stories of the region while experiencing genuine Balaton hospitality. Some locations also offer activities with limited capacity that require advance registration, as well as additional experiences available for a fee.
