There is one day each year on the southern shore of Lake Balaton when everything seems to slow down, yet the village comes alive. A day when Kőröshegy opens its gates wide and welcomes visitors into its courtyards, wine cellars, gardens and warm hospitality. This day is the KőrösHEGYEN–VÖLGYÖN Wine & Gastro Picnic, taking place on 20 June.

Along the winding roads that cross the hills, open courtyards invite you to discover local producers, winemakers and hosts who proudly share the flavours and atmosphere of the Balaton region.

The nearby wine cellars showcase the character of the Balaton wine region through crisp white wines, fragrant rosés and more full-bodied selections, each with its own story and family tradition behind it. Freshly prepared homemade dishes, seasonal ingredients and authentic local flavours complete the experience.
