Operating from March to mid-November in the Gyenesdiás–Keszthely–Hévíz region, one of Europe’s largest hot air balloons typically takes off in the late afternoon around sunset or in the early morning. During the approximately one-hour flight, you’ll rise to an altitude of 1,000–1,500 metres, offering truly breathtaking views. The experience goes beyond the flight itself, including transfers, multilingual guiding, ground crew support, and even a celebratory champagne toast and traditional “balloon baptism” at the end.
