Badacsonytördemic Basalt Days – 2026

Between July 3–5, various locations across Badacsonytördemic come alive with music, literature, theatre, exhibitions, wine, and gastronomy. Basalt Days is not a traditional festival, but rather a three-day encounter with the culture, local values, and community spirit of the Balaton Highlands.

During these days, courtyards, wine cellars, public squares, and historic buildings fill with life as programs take place throughout the village, including:

– open-air theatre performances
– live concerts
– dance performances
– fine art exhibitions
– wine tastings
– gastronomic programs
– artisan and local producers’ market
– yoga sessions in nature
– geological tours and themed walks exploring the stories of basalt and the surrounding landscape
