Badacsony Harvest Festival

The festival is a fitting finale to the summer season and one of the highlights of Badacsony’s wine culture and harvest traditions. The highlight of the weekend begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday, 13 September, when Hungary’s longest harvest parade sets off from Badacsonytomaj. Stilt walkers, flag throwers, young hussars, brass bands, drummers and horsemen join the procession, accompanied by plenty of dancing – and even more wine. The parade follows Route 71 towards Badacsony, with hundreds of participants bringing the wine region to life.
What to expect at one of the most spectacular autumn festivals in the Balaton Uplands:
Wine tastings and seasonal harvest treats
Traditional folk dance performances
Acoustic concerts, duos and DJs
Street parties and a lively festival atmosphere
Plenty of activities for children
