The Vitorlás Ice Cream Shop is located in the centre of Balatonmáriafürdő, tucked away in a quiet side street. It was opened in 2022 by Attila Pálfi, following many years of experience in both business management and ice cream making.
The shop is known for its bold experimentation with flavours and ingredients. One of its most unique creations is the lángos ice cream, which received a special award in 2023. It is based on a classic cooked cream, combined with real lángos prepared at the neighbouring Gyufa Büfé. Another standout flavour, the mint-cucumber ice cream, won the Audience Award at the “Ice Cream of the Year” competition in 2023. Other popular options include raspberry cheesecake, cashew with dates, and rosé wine ice cream designed for adults.
The Vitorlás also offers a range of free-from options. In addition to fruit sorbets, visitors can choose from dairy-free flavours such as paleo milk chocolate, paleo cinnamon apple cake, paleo blueberry, and dark chocolate. A selection of lemonades, coffee, and even hot chocolate is also available for those looking for a refreshing or warming drink.
