Since 2008, dairy products at the Tekeresvölgyi Family Farm have been produced as a small-scale, family-run operation.
Today, the milk of around 50 Hungarian Simmental cows is processed within their organic farming system. The farm places strong emphasis on promoting the benefits of high-quality food consumption and encouraging a long-term, conscious lifestyle. Alongside other producers across the country, they aim to contribute to a growing culture of mindful, quality-driven eating. While a wide range of products is available, the true highlights of the farm are its distinctive cheeses, including aged, semi-hard, and soft varieties. These long-matured cheeses represent the core of the manufactory’s identity and remain a key focus for the future. Beyond dairy production, the farm also creates products from other livestock. Visitors can take part in traditional Hungarian “disznótor” (pig slaughter) experiences, as well as organised cheese tastings and gastronomic events.
A 42-seat event hall located at the centre of the estate provides an ideal setting for these programmes. Guests can also stay on-site in well-designed family apartments, making the farm a complete rural experience destination.
