Located near Veszprém, this abandoned Soviet-era settlement from the 1960s is often referred to as the “Hungarian Chernobyl.”

Once a fully functioning military town, it was left empty after the withdrawal of Soviet troops and has since become a haunting, overgrown site. Due to safety concerns and private ownership, it is not freely accessible, but it remains one of the region’s most unusual and visually striking points of interest.
