Welcome to Rubin Winery! 

Our family winery is one of the hidden gems of Somogy County and the Balatonboglár Wine Region. From the very beginning, we have followed organic viticulture and winemaking practices, cultivating our vineyards and producing our wines in a sustainable way. Our organic farming is strictly controlled and certified by Biokontroll Hungária. On our nearly 7-hectare estate, grapes are grown with limited yield per vine and processed in our own cellar, built by ourselves. 

The winery is led by organic winemaker Tamás Subosits, who, together with his family and friends, works passionately to share the fruits of their dedication with as many guests as possible. Visit us and become part of this experience. Taste our wines and refresh yourself under the shade of the vines with our coffees and non-alcoholic, grape-based cocktails. The experience is complemented by a selection of wine snacks and traditional Hungarian hot dishes. 

From our wine terrace, you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of Badacsony—even together with your four-legged companion—and take a relaxing break during your cycling tour. We also host team-building events, harvest programmes and family gatherings. The surrounding vineyard hills offer excellent opportunities for hiking and cycling. You can explore the Hamvas Béla Wine Route, partly established by our winery, where Béla Hamvas wrote The Philosophy of Wine, also available for purchase here in English and French. Along the route, visitors can reflect on Hamvas’s quotes while enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the northern shore’s volcanic hills.
