Nyomda Pizzát! offers a unique blend of retro atmosphere and contemporary flavors in one of Veszprém’s most exciting downtown venues.

The name is more than just a playful pun—it reflects the building’s past as a former printing house, now transformed into a vibrant space serving creative pizzas in a distinctive setting. The main guest area is an experience in itself, filled with nostalgic elements such as old May Day posters, pioneer memorabilia, time clocks, and even a rocking horse turned into a lamp. The iconic slogan “8 hours work – 8 hours rest – 8 hours leisure” takes on a new meaning here, reinforcing the venue’s playful reinterpretation of the past. Beyond the main space, further discoveries await. Three additional indoor rooms open from a separate building through the back garden. One recreates the atmosphere of a retro house party, complete with vintage furniture, a disco ball, and references to Hungarian pop culture. Another room functions as a ping-pong space, while the third, the “Balaton beach,” evokes the mood of classic socialist-era holiday resorts, making it ideal for smaller gatherings or corporate events.

Nyomda is more than just a pizzeria—it is part exhibition, part social hub, and a true local curiosity that combines gastronomy with immersive storytelling.
