Respecting the architectural heritage of the former post office building in Badacsonytomaj, Szalma Lili and Bálint Hájos—combining its distinctive style with their own concept—created La Téne, which has quickly become a popular meeting point, an unmissable coffee destination in Badacsony, and a high-quality patisserie. Where a post office closes… a new-wave pastry shop and café opens. At least, that’s how it happened in our case in the summer of 2020. La Téne has grown from a family business into one of the country’s top patisseries within just three years. Since then, the team’s goal has been to operate a year-round venue by Lake Balaton—one that is worth visiting even on a winter day.
