Kishegy Hill Lookout Point

Kishegyi Lookout Point is a scenic panoramic viewpoint located on Kishegy hill above Balatonlelle, on the southern shore of Lake Balaton. 

Set within a peaceful forested area, it offers visitors a tranquil escape combined with one of the most beautiful views in the region. From the hilltop, approximately 300 meters above sea level, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Balaton, stretching from Badacsony to Fonyód. The panorama includes vineyard-covered slopes, charming wineries, and the distinctive volcanic hills of the northern shore, creating a uniquely picturesque landscape. The lookout itself is a fan-shaped panoramic terrace located in the Kishegy Park Forest, designed as a comfortable resting point for hikers, cyclists, and families. The surrounding area also features benches, picnic spots, and recreational facilities, making it an ideal stop for relaxation during an outdoor excursion. 

Accessible via hiking trails or a short uphill walk from Balatonlelle, the site is especially popular at sunrise and sunset, when the changing light enhances the natural beauty of the lake and surrounding hills.
