The town of Zalakaros, famous for its thermal waters, has its community life centered around the Karos Korzó, opened in 2021.
At the heart of the 6-hectare area stands a multifunctional building that hosts family-friendly, cultural, and artistic programs. The 200-seat event hall serves as a venue for numerous concerts, various performances, and gastronomic events, while a café and a children’s play corner also welcome visitors. Outside the building, an open-air stage and an event space with a capacity of up to 3,000 people provide enjoyable experiences for guests. The promenades, the grove with its beautiful fountain, parks, sun loungers, and a barefoot path offer opportunities for relaxation and passive leisure. Naturally, the designers of Karos Korzó also catered to more active visitors: a one-way running track extends through the arboretum, and e-bike charging stations as well as bicycle storage facilities have also been installed.
