In Balatonkenese, Szó ami Szó has evolved from one of the best bakeries around Lake Balaton into a restaurant that showcases the same level of quality.
Founded by pastry chef Gellért Szó and baker Dániel Szó—known from their G&D artisan confectionery—the concept expanded in 2020 with a new location and a broader vision. The venue features a charming, flower-filled garden and two main buildings, allowing the original bakery and pastry shop to operate alongside a full kitchen led by Katalin Kapás. This combination creates a balanced concept where high-quality baked goods and desserts are complemented by a more complete dining experience.
