In the oldest iconic building of Balatonfüred, now home to our visitor centre, you can explore the spectacular interactive exhibition titled “Summer at Lake Balaton – Bathing Season in Füred 1825–1914,” which invites visitors on an unforgettable journey through time. Walking within the historic walls, you can discover the world of Hungarian spa culture during the Reform Era and the period following the Austro-Hungarian Compromise, including the history of warm and cold bathing, lake steamship travel, sailing, and the vibrant atmosphere of the famous Anna Balls of Füred.
