One of the most beautiful valleys of the Bakony Mountains is the gorge of the Cuha Stream, considered unique in Hungary. Its rushing, water-rich stream flows between steep rock walls, while the hiking trail that repeatedly and adventurously crosses it makes the experience even more memorable. Running parallel to the stream, the protected historic railway line—with its viaducts and tunnels—adds a distinctive charm to the landscape.
The varied and easy circular hike becomes truly adventurous thanks to the multiple crossings over the stream via shallow fords.
