THE CODE EXPERIENCE CODE was created as part of the Veszprém–Balaton 2023 European Capital of Culture programme, with the primary mission of opening new paths towards experience-based cultural consumption and digital education.

It is an innovative audiovisual institution that introduces visitors to a new dimension of digital art. It is not merely an exhibition space, but a unique experience centre where art, science, and technology meet. Using state-of-the-art audiovisual tools, the world’s greatest artworks, the mysteries of the human body, and the wonders of our diverse world come to life. In addition, CODE also functions as a creative hub, aiming to serve as a regional centre while providing a new artistic platform for both Hungarian and international creators. Step out of reality! At CODE, you can become an active participant in a special virtual journey, where artistic, scientific, and historical topics that once seemed distant come to life and invite you to connect with them. Immersive genres, video mapping, and video imaging formats offer the opportunity to explore visual arts and educational topics from entirely new perspectives, while experiencing inspiring and entertaining moments.

Get inspired and learn! CODE is not only an experience centre, but also a creative base where you can freely explore the digital worlds of art and science. Through inspiring lectures and workshops, you can learn using the tools of the future.
