Set in an idyllic, picturesque environment next to the Kis-Balaton, the Cezar Winery in Nagyrada is surrounded by approximately 100 hectares of vineyards.
It is a stronghold of winemaking in Zala, a sanctuary representing the symbiosis of grape varieties, flavours, and unique beverages. The winery was built in the heart of a special wine-growing area, surrounded by gently rolling hills and valleys. The building covers an area of approximately 2,500 m² and includes fermentation facilities, a barrique storage room, grape processing units, a cooling chamber, social facilities, offices, as well as an impressive wine presentation hall and shop. The interior design of the winery, with its minimalist style—its architectural solutions, applied materials, winemaking technology, and the sight of new barrique barrels—captures the attention of visitors and invites them to pause for a moment. Belonging to the Zala Wine Region, the winery is the largest operation in Zala County both in terms of storage capacity and wine production volume.
The philosophy of our winery is to introduce high-quality regional wines to as many people as possible. We aim to demonstrate that, with advanced technology and solid theoretical knowledge, outstanding wines can be produced in this region as well. Grape processing and winemaking take place on-site in a modern and aesthetically pleasing environment. In addition to quality wines, we also produce various other products derived from grapes, including balsamic vinegar, pomace brandies, grape seed oils, and ground grape products—everything that originates from the grape itself.
For groups, we offer complete programmes including vineyard tours, wine and sparkling wine tastings, and, upon request, seated or garden-style meals.
