Balatonakarattya High Bluff

Akarattya High Coast (Akarattya Magaspart) is one of the most spectacular panoramic viewpoints on the eastern side of Lake Balaton, located in Balatonakarattya along the Kisfaludy Promenade. From a height equivalent to about a 20-storey building, visitors can enjoy breathtaking views across a wide stretch of the lake and surrounding settlements. The panorama includes Balatonkenese, the Fűzfő Bay, Balatonalmádi, Káptalanfüred, the high coast of Balatonvilágos, and even the lakeside skyline of Siófok. On clear days, the distant hills of Badacsony are also visible. The area is also known as the Kisfaludy Promenade or “Tengerlátó part” (Sea-view Coast), reflecting its unique visual resemblance to a seaside cliff. A wooden viewing terrace has been built along the promenade, offering a comfortable place to rest and take in the scenery. Thanks to its constantly changing colors and light conditions, the view of Lake Balaton from this point offers a different experience throughout the day, making it an ideal stop for photography, relaxation, and short scenic breaks.
